Biomat? Not the super expensive one

Hello everyone,

I was told by my LLMD to step up my detoxing due to my MTHFR mutation. Admittedly, I have been lazy the past several weeks and haven't been detoxing as vigorously as I once had. But with this MTHFR diagnosis and new product she gave me, Researched Nutritionals BLt, which is suppose to be pretty strong, I'm motivated to go extra hard with it.

Since I don't have a infrared sauna available in my area, I figured the biomat is the next best thing. Especially since I read how it's suppsoe to be good for stiff, achy muscles. However it's expensive as hell. I looked around to see if anyone was selling a used one but nothing. I did find an alternative one that supposedly uses jade stones instead of amethyst and it's alot cheaper. I was wondering if anyone has used the cheaper one? Based on the reviews it seems to work for some people, but I'm not entirely sold yet.

Should I wait in case one pops up cheaper somewhere or should I try the less expensive jade mat?

The twin size would be better for heating up your whole body at once. The reviews are good. I think I looked at them when I was debating about the Biomat.

I personally like the Biomat better, but I haven't tried the others. It has several channels of small rock, so there is more rock in contact with your body than the cheaper models. It's well made, but isn't cheap, as you're aware of. It's very sturdy too. Mine is used and doesn't show any wear. I'm not sure how long the previous owner had it, but I'm guessing it was several years.

Is there a trial period for the cheaper ones? There is for Biomats. One seller offers a 60 day trial, which is pretty good. Most others have a 30 day trial.

A friend of mine got a prescription for a Biomat. I don't recall what discount she got, but it was enough for her to buy one. I can ask her for the details if you'd like.

You could get a cheaper one to see if you even like the technology.

Every few days I think I need a Biomat. Then I put it on the back burner because of the cost involved. Trying not to be impulsive and just not order one yet. But I feel one coming in the future. If you get one or another kind, please post your results.

We've had a couple of warm days and I've been outside working a little and sweating more than I ever do. The sun on my back feels just like the Biomat.

I debated about the mats a long time, also because of the cost. I probably would've gotten one eventually if the used one hadn't come up.

I did read that Biomat originally used jade and then switched to amethyst because they felt it penetrated the body better. I am still on the lookout for a amethyst biomat. Fingers crossed.

We purchased an "expensive" biomat when Heather was sick. The gemstones are Amethyst. We saw enough value in it that we would never part with it. We consider it to be part of our home arsenal against illness- should we ever need it again.

Unfortunately only 30 days. But I will be using it as soon as it comes in and reporting.
