I apologize in case this has already been discussed. Anyhow I am looking for advice. Over the past year I have been getting treatment for Lyme and I have improved steadily but like many here there were many long and difficult days.
My health had returned to the point where I've returned to exercising, mainly running and cycling, but I would like to get back into some weightlifting. The problem is that instead of joints, Lyme has attacked my chest. I've had consistently sore ribs, even painful to the touch for about a year. Every time I try a upper body workout I spend hours our even days racked with pain.
Its funny that I can run, and ride a bike with almost no pain, but my running and cycling is moderate exercise. Rarely do I exert myself to a point where I am breathing heavily. Trust me I am ever so thankful that I can exercise about three times per week.
I am hoping that someone can provide some guidance or have been through similar symptoms and what did you do to overcome "sore ribs and chest"
Thank you everybody in advance for taking the time to post. It is appreciated.
