CD57

I can't help on the CD57 or HHV6 (someone else will know and no doubt be along shortly) but I hear you on the latter.

My advice with regards to that is please come here - post, rant, whine, moan, complain, we hear you. We believe you and folks here will give you all the help and support they can. And trust me, knowing that is worth its weight in gold.

I'm not convinced by the CD57 test personally. I tested positive for Lyme(Elispot) after 6 years of being ill and my CD57 value was above the upper limit. I know some doctors moved away from it and some continue to use it.

As for wanting to die, my personal mantra is that it's a symptom of the disease. You don't really want to die you just want to be healthy again and as someone bluntly put it, dead people don't get better. But I know the feeling and it's awful to deal with and it's hard to break those irrational thought patterns even if you rationally know that's what they are.
