Hello everyone,

I am somewhat new to this world but I have always wanted/wished there was some indicator/diagnosis tool for chronic lyme (similar to the bulls eye rash for acute lyme). Having a curious mind, I found I have these strange red bumps (not a lot but a few) throughout my skin that looks a bit like small chicken pox or TINY bright red blood blisters. I would describe the small ones as if I was marked with a red ink pen and the larger ones almost like a bug bite. They do kinda itch but not much. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here has these as well. Take a look at the pictures in the link below and look CLOSELY at your skin in bright light and see if you have anything like it.

If so, it might be lyme related. Or not, I am just curious. Maybe this gets shot down in a few hours of posting, but thought I would check.

Hi gordosuperfly! Welcome to our community! This forum is a great place for support and help. Great group of people here...I hope you keep coming back to read, post, ask any questions you have.

Well, I have all sorts of weird skin manifestations...some are red dots...also an increase in flat moles....my back initially looked awful ...spots, new moles, dry skin patches, little black heads (I've never had black heads before lyme)

Now my skin is looking much better on my back.

My arms and legs, however - the skin is strange - it's like shiny in some areas.

Oh...have you had a chance to read the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?...Start Here!"?
It's full of good information - symptom lists, links, Igenex information, detox ideas.

Like others on here, lots of skin changes on the body and acne in face since lyme got worse.

I get the red flat bumps like you: that's my body's version of mosquito bites now. They used to look like normal bug bites & itch like the dickens when I was a kid until I got bit by the tick. Now mosquito bites on me are just red pen dots and they don't itch at all. It's like my body is immune now.
