It's Been Awhile (Update)

Some of you who have been on here for a while may remember my case. I have gotten a lot out of this site and there are some truly kind people here.

4 years ago started feeling lousy. Took three months to be diagnosed with LD.

Was treated inadequately with abx first and then since symptoms didn't go away got impatient and tried to go all natural but the head nuero stuff wouldn't go away.

Basically dealt with it for over a year more or less untreated as nothing would work until I crashed May 2014. LD and Bartonella had taken over.

Started aggressive treatment with Dr. F in West Caldwell, NJ beginning in October 2014.

PICC Doxy for 5 months with Rifampin and Tindazole once a month for a week.

Switched to Biaxin and Plaquenil once the PICC came out. Still Tindazole once a month for 7 days.

Was completely out of work for 4 months. Could not do anything.

Feeling about 80% now. The Tindazole week still gets me.

Now I've been approved by my insurance for IVIG which starts next Monday as a neurologist who works with Dr. F found I have some fairly significant nerve damage in my legs (never bothered me before...still doesn't). He believe it could help.

I sure hope so. This has gone on long enough.

Does the Dr. think the nerve damage is from the long-term infection...or from an antibiotic you were taking?
