So, I've been treating for lyme since last summer - currently on an antibiotic break due to high liver enzymes.
I was clinically diagnosed with bart by my LLND...and was supposed to start Rifampin...but it's on hold now.

While on the antibiotics, I was also taking some buhner's herbs: JK, Crypto, Hout, Sida, Hawthorne.

One of my symptoms has been hot flashes/sweats - night and day. Also have shivers, even though we're going through a heat wave and our house is hovering around 79/80 degrees.
LLND thought it was lyme induced.

So, I'm still taking the buhner herbs mentioned above, and this morning I woke up with sore, red eyes. I got almost 8 hours sleep - no reason for it.

I'm now wondering - could I have Babesia, too? What do you experts think?

I'm hoping it points toward bart - would rather treat just one more infection - not two...lol

I do have shivers like I'm cold, but my skin isn't cold...It may be related to my nervous system vibrations - which could be bart.

I also have foot pain and had rib pain - which is bart. No doubt I have bart, but I thought maybe I also have babs.

I thought maybe the crypto was bring out the babs.

the sweats got a lot better last summer after my treatment started and I went on zithro, but they came back again.

Thanks Lymie Girl - My LLND put me on crypto not because he thought babs, but he says it's good to fight all infections...

Red eyes is definitely Bartonella as I have had the same thing. It does resolve with treatment for bart though.
