quick update--bronchitis and sinusitis--a bit scared and lonely

Hi,

I was hoping my bronchitis and sinus infection would get better; I've been taking Olive Leaf Extract.

The phlegm from the bronchitis looks better, but the coughing is still bad, and I'm having trouble with O2 saturation, and a little scared.

The sinus infection is still bad; basically the same, if not worse.

I've switched from Olive Leaf to a combo of Monolaurin and Oil of Oregano, plus using Cryptolepsis in Saline Rinse, and waiting to get some Buhner tinctures in mail (also for saline rinse).

Worst case, I'll go on abx.

I'm going to be one big, walking herx.

I managed to get out some today, but feeling really alone. My friends are either going out of town, or otherwise occupied, and my family is, well, nonexistent (I'm sorry if I sound pathetic)!

I sometimes feel that it almost wouldn't make a difference to anyone if I were gone (except to my dogs, of course)!

I have to tell myself that the trees and the river are my company.

I am having a terrible time with sleep.

Margaret - sorry you're feeling down this tonight! LD IS a lonely disease....even for me sometimes and I have a husband here beside me.

What abx will you taking? Do you have another Dr. appointment scheduled to check out your bronchitis?

Hope that tomorrow will be a better day for you!!!

No abx, Girlie.

I can't be on abx, because of a history of c. diff.

No doctor's appointment either, although I plan to make one on Monday.

I am so disappointed with my PCP right now.

I have an appointment scheduled with a pulmonologist in August.

Say Girlie, I'm sorry you've been so swamped with all of us, and with all the newbies.

I'll help out more as soon as this lung and sinus crap is gone.

Going to try to go to bed in these wee hours of the morning here on the East coast.

Oh, I so wish I had a hubby! Even a best friend/roommate type deal would work.

I need someone of my own species once in awhile.

Well, Margaret - sometimes my furry friends are the best company of all...no judgement, no expectations (as long as they're fed...lol), and very soothing when I'm "down".

Have you thought about a room-mate? It might not be a bad idea...unless you've got a lot of annoying habits... :-) (just joking)

I've had a cough on and off for a year or so, but nothing as bad as yours. I was talking to a woman who had done a talk and I had a coughing fit right then. She handed me a bottle of silver, ACS200 and told me to do 5 squirts, so I did. My cough let up shortly after that. It's in a spray bottle. I continued to use it whenever I started coughing and now I don't have those coughing fits much at all. It felt like it was in my bronchials.

I don't know if it would be enough to help you, but just thought I'd mention it in case you were interested.

I'm having sleep issues too, waking up before I've had enough sleep. I'll have to try to get to bed earlier to see if that makes a difference.

I think it would make a difference to us if you were, so stick around! I do hope you get some relief soon. Keep up the quest for answers.

I will be keeping good thoughts for you to find whats right for the bronchitis/sinus infection... i know that can feel miserable.

And then everything is filtered through that... so its tough to pull out of a slump. I am glad that you have us and your fur babies at least.
But if you are feeling like you really need or want more, you can email me... and we can set up a time to talk on the phone. Just an option to consider.

In any case... i hope you are giving your body plenty of rest ... it is such an important component to healing. And i hope you can get the right treatment to knock out that extra infection.

Please get the infection cultured before taking anything! It is likely bacterial but if it is fungal and you take abx… you could be in for much more trouble…

hope you get to the bottom of this.

Yes Girlie, You're right about furry friends. And as long as they're not snoring, and they're not bothered by hugging, they help me sleep too.

Garden, I haven't had much with silver, but maybe I used the wrong kind! I've tried it for my sinuses too, and it never cured my stubborn sinus infections.

Bellyfull, that's so sweet! Yes, you're right. Things do look worse when you're sick. But what's hard for me is being really sick by myself, with noone around to provide support and encouragement, or to take me to the doctor.

I might take you up on that offer.

P, I'm not going on abx, at least for now. If my LLMD or another doctor insists on it, I'll try to find a local doctor who can culture the phlegm (Dr. Ford is my Ent doctor).

I tried Olive Leaf Extract; now I'm on Oregano Oil and one pellet of Monolaurin.

If things get bad enough, I'll increase the number of pellets.

The cough is better, kind of, but I'm still spitting up white stuff.

The sinuses are still bad news; I won't bother anyone with a description.

My friend B. came over today to walk with me, but I'm completely exhausted from walking!!

I could have asked her to walk my dogs for me, but then I wouldn't have had the opportunity to be social.

She's ADD; has to be active all the time, and doesn't like to just sit around and talk that much. She's not very good at the "Poor baby" kind of thing, LOL.
