Well, I wanted to give everyone an update on my IV chelation for off the charts heavy metals. So far I have had two sessions and I am cautiously optimistic. I don't know if the herxing will get worse as I go along, but so far, it is manageable. I am very tired the next day, my insomnia, joint pain and brain fog are more intense but otherwise, ok. I have noticed that when I am having the treatment, my hands turn grey, which is the metal leaching out to my skin. A little creepy, but I have been told, a good sign.
I also have been on a very strict anti candida diet and on Zeobind, another heavy metal detoxing agent, for the past 6 weeks and I feel that it has helped me tremendously to handle this IV therapy. I will be traveling for the next 10 days and my LLMD has placed me on oral chelation therapy to keep things going.
So, I am writing to all who may be concerned about
this and who have come to a standstill in their treatment. I am so sure that this is the key to what has been tripping me up for so long. This therapy also attacks biofilms so that is also often a stumbling block in Lyme treatments.
BTW, the group that are in the office with me detoxing have some amazing Lyme stories to relate and not the least of them is that Lyme is now very easily transmitted by horse flies, sand flies and small rodents who get ticks. It is no longer just a deer issue.
Stay strong and keep pushing that rock up the hill. Who knows, sooner or later, it just might stay there!
