Abx for late lyme

I started with doxy but that was before I saw my LLND - I started it beginning of July (2014), and added zithro end of July , saw my LLND - first appointment was end of August and he switched me to Amoxicillin...and a month later added biaxin.

Did she say what you would be starting with?
Sometimes it depends on if they suspect co-infections and they want something they can pair with whatever is used to treat the co-infection.

I have heard of treatment starting with Ceftin or Omnicef...or sometimes Minocycline...and yes, doxycycline is still used on chronic lyme.

There are many options.

I have never been on Doxy. Started on Zithro and Tindimax.

Hi Girlie, no she didnt mention what she would start with, i asked on the phone if she treats aggressively, she said i wouldnt say aggressively, i follow ilads, i think she might have been basically saying we shouldnt categorize it with that term...

when i mentioned Doxy, thats when she said no i wont use doxy to start...and shes justing getting into herbs so she can incorporate some of that down the road she said.

Just want to get the blood work done, and someone lyme literate to look at my pic and say, yes, we definitely need to treat.

I need to make some decisions about letting my son leave for college out of town or not. I cant seem to beat the clock on things right now and in my heart of hearts, i feel he wont be going.

i did phone the naturopath office in bc the other day, couldnt get in till mid sept, which is awesome really except that i need to see someone asap to decide if im wrong on this or right with this and that means telling my son he cannot leave for school and needs to start treating instead.

Girlie, do you hold alot of confidence in your naturopaths abilities/education and expertise. Im from a community where naturopathy is such a new way of thinking, treating etc.
