omnicef is a cephalesporin, and would definitely be good for lyme (it is in the same class as rocephin). And can be used in combination with another antibiotic for bartonella. Most people who have lyme and a coinfection do need to be on two antibiotics. And as Girlie said, Tinidazole is only used to treat the cyst form of lyme.
just be careful with cipro - it can have severe an long lasting side effects. Why not stay on omnicef and add another antibiotic? omnicef is excellent and usually it is combined with a macrolide (zithromax or biaxin) to combat bartonella. - do you have bart too or just lyme?
