Just got my Chronic Tonic .... questions....

Hi, I hope Traveller can weigh in here as well as anybody who has taken Chronic Tonic. I am still finishing up a round of antibiotics, so I'm curious to know if I can take Chronic Tonic with it or if that causes any issues. I will be asking my llmd as well. Also, for anybody who has taken it, did they herx and how long until you noticed a difference either positive or negative? It says to take a tablespoon twice a day, but I think I remember somebody saying that you can make tea with it as well? Many thanks!

Hi Lymebean!! I was away today, but was just popping in to see how things are going when I saw this, so I wanted to respond right away.
Yes, you can take the Chronic Tonic as I made it with abx. I double checked that when I was using it. The only thing you need to check on is if you are using the Chronic Tonic from Misty Meadows that they mix up- there are a few other herbs that are now being added.

Here are the list of herbs that I used for the Chronic Tonic and I know that these are safe to use with abx:

Cat's Claw

Echinacea Root - according to Buhner, this needs to be Echinacea Angustfolia.

Teasel

Eleuthero

Red Root

Japanese Knotweed

St. Johns wort

Sweet Annie (also known as Artemisia Annua, Sweet Wormwood)

Neem leaf

Oregano

Thyme

Use it as they direct. The tea is how I made mine up, but I bought all my own herbs and did it myself. Theirs is slightly different.
