Looking for a treatment program/ centre CANADA

I am a 24 yr old female from sask with lyme and a young family. I have not had any success with small town doctors and am seeking to go away for treatment. I am too sick to travel back and forth. Does anyone know of anywhere I can go with my family ( as an outpatient or inpatient ) for a complete treatment plan where I can stay in one place for my whole treatment. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am looking specifically for a multidisciplinary treatment program with both naturopathy and antibiotic medicine. I don't want just 4 weeks of doxy. Insurance and sask health will only cover a canadian clinic therefore I am not looking for an American treatment facility at this time.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I am a fellow Canadian (BC) and I know that IV antibiotics will be difficult to get.
I don't know of any LL Dr.'s in Saskatchewan. There are some in Alberta...There is an MD in Calgary who is treating Lyme patients and he does do IV antiibiotics. However, I read on the CanLyme website that he has a 9 month wait.

There are a couple LLND's in Alberta, as well, and at least one of them prescribes antibiotics... I don't think she does IV though.

I see a LLND in Richmond, BC and he is licensed to prescribe antibiotics...and he does IV glutathione...and I had heard he did IV antibiotics...but I don't know if that is true. You could call the clinic and ask.

When you have some time, it would be a good idea to read through the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?...Start Here!" - full of good information - symptom lists, probiotic information, detoxing suggestions and more.

I would like to suggest you start on detoxing a.s.a.p. You need to flush out the toxins that the infection is creating through die-off. This will help prep your body for when you start treating.
Also, taking a good dose of probiotics for your gut health is something you could be doing now, too.
