What are you prescribed by Llmd in usa

Hi
I live in England and llmd do not exist here (a few Dr's deal with Lyme but not many)

I was bitten 6 weeks ago
The advice is 21 days 200mg per day doxy and a blood test that will show up as negative.
(I'm on 400mg for 8 weeks)
If I was in America and went to a llmd with the bite 6 weeks ago, what would I be given in the way of antibiotics - do you get medicine for coinfections as well at the same time

I really want to know if I should be getting anything else

Are you dealing with any symptoms? If yes, you'll need to treat for a full 8 wks. after complete resolution of symptoms.

The ILADS site has treatment guidelines and I find the ones written by Dr. Burrascano to be a bit more clear:

bountybar, one or more of us giving you our protocol from our LLMDs is not really the answer. We all have different bodies and diffierent infections requiring different treatments. Check out the link that cd3764 has provided, as well as the info at :
