I've become, YET AGAIN, prey to yet ANOTHER frig'n bacteria.
I got a salmonella strain called 'Poona' that is very RARELY found in food. I got it from cucumbers and boy am I EVER frustrated beyond belief....due to my last food allergy test done in July, I'd had an even more limited list of foods of which cucumbers I was able to eat....but noooooooo now I'm scared to eat them!!!! Ugh.
The good news is that the Poona strain is usually antibacterial RESISTENT; however I was put on Cipro and Flagyl. Luckily, the salmonella is gone!!!
The combination of synthetic antibiotics that I took for the salmonella infection also caused major herxing from who-knows-what else died off!!!?
But I suspect the antibiotics actually caused an arthritic flare up!
Anyhoo, everyone suffering w/chronic illness should be very careful what and where you eat!!!
