Welchol or Cholestyramine?

Hi all,

What is everyones opinion on welchol vs. cholestyramine for mold/biotoxin removal? I had the option of using cholestyramine but I asked my LLMD which one she would use, she said welchol because it's easier on the body but cholest. is 4x more powerful.

Should I ask her to prescribe cholestyramine instead of Welchol?

Has anyone used Welchol, if so, what have the experiences been?  Same with cholestyramine?

Cholestyramine is more powerful. Your doc is spot on. However, I really did not like the sugar in it. The light version still has artificial sweetener. If you go with the Cholestyramine, I would recommend the pure powder.

I absolutely love how easy Welchol is for me. I can take the pills in the middle of the night. It is so convenient. I can take it with activated charcoal too.

I might ask my doc if I can rotate them and get a script for the pure powder.
