what supplements or herbs are beneficial for your treatment?

Hi everyone I am rarely on here because I am really struggling mentally with all of this, my question is what supplements either vitamins,herbs,superfoods,has helped you the most I went to see a natural path and before I by everything I am not yet sold on I really need all this stuff my llmd does not believe you should be on to many things all at once I am on antibiotics bactrim,clindamycine,diflucan,probiotics,and the only other thing he put me on was pinella I also use alka seltzer gold,sauna,Epson salt baths. The natural path I just saw wants me on a better multivitamin after I finish what I have, b12 spray under the tounge,she wants me on whey protein drinks in the morning I hear good and bad things about that, alpha lipolic acid, magnesium I already use a transdermal magnesium because I can never tolerate any magnesium orally so what ate your thoughts what helps you? Thank you everyone just sick of spending money she tried to sell me her cookbook I said no thanks....

Great to see you back! I'm sorry you're not doing well. I hope it gets better soon.

It sounds like you have some great recommendations so far. I find binders very helpful (at least 2 hours before or after any meds / food. Activated charcoal really helps me.

Another thing you might want to check out is Nystatin. Difulcan is usually given short term since it is so strong. Preventing yeast / fungal issues is important. I take a pure Nystatin powder (1,000,000 units). Prior to that, I was taking pills from my pharmacy.

I'm also on Grapefruit Seed Extract as a cyst buster.

There are a ton of other good supplements. You're on the right track! Please let us know how you're doing here and there. :)

Difulcan will treat systemic yeast problems, when yeast gets in the blood stream. It is pretty strong. It is usually only used short term.

Nystatin is generally much more gentle and is good for the intestinal tract (starting in your mouth) or what we call gut yeast. It is usually used on a long-term basis with antibiotics to prevent / treat yeast.

The pure Nystatin powder is much more effective than the pills you can buy at the pharmacy. The pure powder does not contain fillers, such as sugar, which feeds yeast. The pure Nystatin powder works very well. I buy it at a compounding pharmacy.

I have not tried whey protein. Hopefully, someone will weigh in on that.

I've been enjoying whey protein in my lunchtime smoothies since 2011....long before Lyme.

I chose to do this because I was looking for ways to increase my protein intake when starting the P90X Extreme Fitness Program. I've been hooked on those smoothies ever since (and no way, no how could I do that program again right now lol)

You can only imagine how thrilled I was to discover that whey protein has all the necessary components for glutathione production. I think this explains why I've always felt "good inside".

If you're not familiar with all of the benefits of whey protein, I suggest you Google. I can tell you that grass-fed is the best and it needs to be denatured.

Oh, I think all of the supplements recommended to you are excellent. I take them all....and then some. Lyme robs the body of vital nutrients so it makes sense to replace them if we want any chance of healing.

In terms of superfoods? Goji berries have been huge. I have a tablespoon after every big meal and it helps me like no other. I've tried everything else, algae's, chlorella, clay etc. and it was too tough for my system.


In terms of herbs-
Serratia Serrapeptase (No additives, best biofilm breaker and inflammation reducer. Other herbs would not be effective with out it)
PC Samento - (This is the biopure version and is energetically charged. Regular herbs cannot get through to my system.)

And then I cycle various Nutramedix and regular herbs.

For toothpaste, I use WellScent.

No perfumes, colognes or scented soaps.
