What is really worrying is that as a dog groomer I could have taken pictures of dogs that came to the shop that make those pics look tame by comparison. And on an alarmingly regular basis. Makes me shudder to think about it.

Winter here is the season for ticks, we don't get real cold temps (OK, 15 degrees celcius is freeeezing to me but the ticks seem to like it) and its wet enough for them too. The tick life cycle here is completely different to colder climates, and would make a good model of what could happen with global warming.

And yet here' we don't have lyme', hey.
