I'm so glad you've pulled through another difficult time and that you have your good attitude at the forefront again. Tell your family that I think they're doing an awesome job too. I'm so glad you have their support.
I agree with Razzle on the homeopathic approach. I'm pretty sure my homeopathic treatments I had when I was so ill before have continued to help me for all these years and I think that's why my Lyme infection hasn't been very bad. You would need a good classical homeopath to help get your body back in balance.
There area couple of classical homeopaths in Eugene that have been in practice a long time. They might work through Skype, but may need to see you in person the first time.
There's one on the east coast, who works on Lyme patients and she uses herbals along with it, but I don't know her and I don't know of anyone who has gone to her.
Take it easy and enjoy feeling better.
Hugs

So glad you are doing better. MCAD is a terrible thing to have to deal with. I don't know anything other than that Traveler said you also have MCAD. So that makes it difficult to
treat with anything because you always have the possibility of a bad reaction.
The benadryl works for a lot of people. I carry a bottle of children's benadryl in case I have a reaction while I'm traveling. I know some people just drink gobs of it before eating anything. i know it has helped stop reactions in the past. The epipen is also a must.
Have you tried ketotifen? I'm pretty sure that it is available in Canada. In the US it's only available compounded and since not many doc know anything about
MCAD it's next to impossible to get .
Keep your little boy close. At my lowest point it was that thought of leaving my kids that kept me going. My grandfather committed suicide when my mother was a teen and that completed colored her world. I never wanted to make my kids deal with that. When he grows up, you will be his hero. Just get up everyday shows him that he can do anything.
You have a very fine line to walk with both MCAD and Lyme, but you can do it if you listen to your body. i don't know how the forum is here (of if there is one) for MCAD, but inspire.com has some very experienced people and maybe they might have some ideas on how to keep that balance.
Traveler, you are a treasure that has changed all our lives. We are all thankful that you have continued to mentor us even though you are healed. Thank you for all the time and energy you have spent helping everyone here.
Hope everyone has a good day,
Kim

Thank you Gkamom, but I'm really nothing more than a cheerleader. You all do all the work.
