Fantastic New Info from Dr Alan MacDonald

I get politics & I understand big pharm (& bio-w). And I find many references cited like those by FB below.

But it seems that these studies date well back to the 80's/90's & yet practically zero acknowledgement.

It seems that with each possible tie-in to LD, there will be one slightly stronger one published with the opposing view (like this Nov one: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26488307?dopt=Abstract).

It makes NO sense that with all the "proof" & all those who are effected by family members with dementia & alzheimer's that I do not find ANY Alzheimer's groups or mainstream news organizations that are hailing this (continued) discovery????

Seriously, if Dr MacD has discovered (apparently again, as I see references years back), why aren't any alzheimer's groups or big news organizations even GRAZING this subject? Politics & pharm are powerful, but...?

Not to spill the beans, but we are working on something like that.

And to help you in your search for understanding on the "why do these people keep their head buried?" Take a look at the other articles that each author has written about (sometimes all you have to do is click on their name), and you will see a definite bias. The first person named on the article is the lead researcher, and the others follow their lead - no matter where it leads to.

My daughter, who is a Researcher, has warned me about this and many other issues with scientific fraud that happens again and again. Studies are "guided" so that the results that are desired are what is found and more. Of course, it holds true for both sides, but if you take if far enough on the side of those that are pro-Lyme, you won't find much corruption, only things that can be backed up by other authors with nothing to gain.

You wouldn't believe (but then again, maybe you would! LOL!) the influence big pharma has on everything in our lives. Remember when we never saw prescription meds advertised on tv? Remember when we didn't see advertisement of prescription meds in our doctors offices? That's not all that they have reached!! They also have a VERY powerful lobbying committee that works in Washington DC to "help their cause" - shall we say.

Yeah, they purposely wrote the code so that people couldn't use a hyperlink. I surely don't understand why, especially since it's a Lyme disease research site!! Grrrr!! Why can't we just share this information????? That's one thing that I really like about Dr. M - he openly shares all of his research - free of charge!!! He just wants the information out there!

While i think Dr MacDonald is up to something with these findings about Alzheimer's patients, the work is, unfortunately, not yet up to the required standards of medical research, probably because of funding constraints.

He needs support, funding, to build a team, so that he can publish his new findings in a peer-reviewed journal.
