I definitely have musical hallucinations:

These occur when I wake up in the middle of the night, or early in the morning.

This dream phenomenon that I'm trying to describe, although it is hard to put into words, is much more than just a simple "nightmare" or "strange dream". It seems to happen regularly, and is consistent in its presentation. I would have to describe it as some sort of cleansing process that my brain is undergoing. It definitely seems like my brain is trying to perform some sort of function, such as removing toxins or fighting off infection, and the extremely intense LSD/ecstasy-like experience is a side effect of the process it's undergoing. I have been experiencing this dream phenomenon regularly since I got sick which was a year ago. Every time I experience it, it seems to do a little more brain damage than the last.
It's concerning, because I wonder if it's an onset of schizophrenia. Forgetting who I am during this dream cycle seems schizophrenic-like in nature. I think it may be a mental degeneration. In any case, it's very concerning, and I'm really not sure what to do about
it.
I haven't seen any real improvement with oral antibiotics.
