Hi guys,

Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. I fractured my tibial plateau in April and have had to focus on recovering from that on top of Lyme. I recently had more blood work done and apparently have a high reverse T3. My level is almost twice that of the normal range. Has anyone else had this? I'm just wondering if it relates to adrenal fatigue.

I was supposed to see my LLMD last week but she was sick and the next appointment is in December.

Any information is greatly appreciated!

My husband's thyroid tests also showed high Reverse T3 ratio.

There were a few options our LLND offered. One was switching over to NDT - he tried - but failed- as the side effects were hard on him...and he wasn't willing to 'stick it out' to longer to find out if it would work. ( I think he tried for about 6 -8 weeks)
Another option was to support his adrenals and see if that helped. One option was to add Pregnenolone supplement - which he did...that didn't seem to help.

My husband also has an untreated lyme infection...so maybe that's what he really needs to do.
