couldn't agree more - i was more "unhealthy" than i originally thought. After dealing with lyme, alot of "unexplained" things from the past make sense now - I don't mean to say I had lyme in my earlier years, but I surely had Candida since i was young - it all makes sense - my parents loaded me up on antibiotics all of the time and i never took probiotics to compensate, which explains my GI and headache issues when I was in college, the endometriosis I had, etc etc. I had major constipation probs amongst other discomforts in which case the Dr labeled "IBS" - another diagnosis I never submitted to. I would bet more than 1/2 the people with IBS have a real underlying problem - like Candida. IBS is just another one of those diagnoses in which case the Dr just can't pinpoint what is really wrong!
