Mycotoxins and Modified Citrus Pectin?

Hi everyone,

I hope its a good day across the continent and beyond
My LLMD just told me I have mycotoxins (specifically Ochratoxin A) and he wants me to take Modified Citrus Pectin to help bind the toxins. However I looked for organic MCP and found Nutricology and Allergy Research - and BOTH have lead in them??
Is it a "negligible" amount? It is apparently enough for an FDA warning - "Contains carcinogens"
Does anyone have other suggestions for a good Modified Citrus Pectin?
I am very constipated so Cholestyramine would not work for me, nor would the clay or the charcoal.
I fight the constipation every day. could use some advice on that too ; )

MCP is particularly good at removing lead from lead poisoned people. Perhaps this is why if it contains some lead maybe it binds it from the soil its grown in. I really doubt it would release any of whatever lead it contains in your system given its known ability to reduce lead levels.

thanks project. i would like to try it, to reduce the mycotoxins.
has anyone had success removing mycotoxins?
What was your experience - symptom reductions?
