Doxycycline Question

I have been sick 22 years and was diagnosed with Lyme almost 3 years ago.

about 10 yrs ago, when my then-doctor was trying to figure out why I was sick, he did a trial of Doxycycline on me, for maybe 2 months (I think)...even though Lyme tests were negative.

Nothing happened at all - no herx, no improvement, no nothing.

If I had Lyme, why didn't I react? I do react now to many of the antibiotics I am prescribed now....

Anyone have any ideas?

Nothing happened to me when I took Ceftin and Biaxin at the same time. I felt no changes at all. I think we are all different and we all react differently and my answer may not even be your answer. Did that make sense?

In other words, who knows. Just the way the lyme goes. No two patients alike.
