Hello old friends and new friends,

This last year I have been doing very well, about 90% better with only a couple nagging symptoms. I still had bad headaches (not as often) and the persistent twitching under my skin. So my LLMD had me add in a cyst buster Interphase Plus, at the same time my other MD diagnosed me with bacterial infection and treated it with Flagyl.

I have only been taking this for the last month (Interphase)(Flagyl was only a week), but it is kicking my butt! I have the chills again, fatigue, more headaches, backaches and abdominal pain (now diminishing). Feeling blah.

Do any of you relate to this? Thinking it is herxing, I have started the dry brushing, salt baths, lemon water etc detoxing again.

I was doing so well and now I feel so upset that I can't be "me" right now, and during the holidays makes it worse because there are so many expectations.

Asking for advice from anyone who has been through this.....might have to go back to acupuncture.

So sorry to hear of these issues!

I very much relate to intense herxes when changing treatments. After 5 months on abx, almost 6 on the full Cowden protocol, I had some of my worst-ever herxes on Buhner.

Truly, for us to stay well, detoxing should be part of our daily lives.

And, if things are really impacting your life too much right now, there's no reason why you could lower the dose(s) of what you're taking.

We can't kill ourselves while trying to kill the bugs.

Sorry to hear you are feeling so grim. Are you taking the cyst busters pulsed? I have to do this or else it is just too butt kicking.

It at least gives me days 'off' to be 'myself'.

Thank you for replies, I am not pulsing but will bring that up to my LLMD at next visit. Perhaps that would help me more productive at work, as right now not doing so great.

Interestingly, just found Lymeninja.com and listened to this podcast where it says when taking cystbusters you can have a big herxheimer reaction. Listening to the podcasts are very helpful. The person who produces this podcast is looking for people to interview for the show. Spreading more information to the public can only help.
