Bartonella and rickettsia Igenex results interpretation help

Hello, I recently received IGenex test results indicating the following:

Bartonella IGG 80

Bartonella IGM negative

Spotted fever IGG 40

Typhus IGG          40

I tested through labcorp positive for lyme bands 23 and 41.  Major symptoms include: lots of muscle twitching throughout body visible and more internal, tingling and crawling sensation on scalp, now pretty much daily, hair loss, fatigue and almost daily headaches.  I also have a periodic left ear odd sensation which I've had for years and itchy skin.  I was diagnosed with Dermographia years ago.  I do have a Lyme literate doctor but would like other input as well...

If you haven't ​yet​, it would be helpful for you to start with reading through the thread at the top of the forum titled,"New to Lyme?...Start here!!", as it is packed full of important information, symptom lists, helpful links and pdf's, how to detox when one has these infections, information on probiotics and much more.

You said that you have a LLMD, but would like other input - from us or from another LLMD? We might be able to help you find another LLMD for a second opinion or whatever if that's what you are hoping for. Just let us know as there is a way to ask for that information as we have to protect them, so we can't just post their names on the forum.

Do you have the reference ranges for the tests? It should be very near your result numbers. Without the reference ranges though, I would assume that you have tested positive for Bartonella since they tell you that you are negative on the IgM and have listed a number on the IgG.

The fact that you had any bands turn up positive through Labcorp testing says a lot! They don't even use the right testing medium (the stuff in the petri dish) and they only test for one strain and don't allow enough time for good results.

You have a positive band that is Lyme specific as well - band 23. A Lyme specific band combined with symptoms, means Lyme disease.

As far as the input, I'd like learn from others experiences treating Lyme and bartonella... I was diagnosed with Lyme in June and with bartonella about 5 days ago... On the test results it indicate that the IGM ranges are <20 negative and IGG 40 to <160 may or may not suggest active infection. Given my symptoms I may have bartonella or it could all be just Lyme.... Also, what is the usual time range people receive treatment for such confections? On the rickettsial infection results it indicates that an IGG 40 May or may not indicate infection. IGM was negative, <20. Any clarification would help!
