So I went to see a new LLMD in MD.
I liked her, but that is beside the point. When she listened to my left lung, she had that look that doctors get when they're concerned, but they're trying to keep from worrying you.
She said I had bronchitis, and needed to see a pulmonologist stat. Another doctor had told me the same thing, and I booked an appointment, but it's not until way out. The thing that worries me, is that other doctors (and nurses, when I was in the hospital for something else) keep talking about "reduced breath sounds." I'm not sure what that means exactly.
What's weird is that it's mostly one lung that's affected. I had xrays about six or so months ago, and they didn't show anything at the time, so I'm guessing that it isn't something like cancer ? I have a history of breast cancer.
She also asked if I had had any water damage in my house. A number of years ago, a washer leaked when a handyman moved it. Plus, I've also had mold behind the wall paper in my downstairs bathroom. So, she said I had to move asap. As nice as she is, the stuff she's telling me scares me.
Meanwhile, I ate sugar during the holidays, and am now feeling sick and having a bad herx from Artemisia and Cryptolepsis. I'm experiencing nausea and diarrhea, but only since I've taken the herbs. Is the herx particularly bad bc of the sugar?
I think the warm damp weather doesn't help either. Shoot, the daffodils were blooming in DC! We've had some freezing weather, but we need a real winter, with a good long spell of below freezing weather to kill leaf mold and to produce dry air.
I realize I'm venting, but the lung thing has me worried. And yes, I know I shouldn't have eaten all that sugar!
