I HAVE GOOD NEWS!!!!!

This will be brief as I feel like craaaaaap! But I had to share


My labs are negative for Lyme/co for the first time since 2006! I have the bad genetics for mold. From what I understand my body is holding on to every toxin I've ever been exposed to. So I'm being treated for that.

Even though my labs are negative all that might mean is that the bacteria are intercellular. So I can't rip my picc out just yet. But the day may come pretty soon!

I will always have an issue with toxins. I was told spending an hour in a water damaged building will leave me in bed for days for the duration of my life. But it's treatable. There's hope for me. If there's hope for me there's hope for you!

Get that ridiculously expensive testing done!!!!!!!!!!!! Take out a loan or borrow the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear about your bad genetics for mold. But at least you have more answers and will be able to treat this!

I am soooo happy that you found the missing pieces to why you weren't healing properly!!!

I'm soooooo excited about this lol. I know it's not going to be easy and it will still take a long time to heal. But now I'm not shooting in the dark. I know what's wrong and why Lyme treatment was so rough.

I'm really happy to switch gears for a while. My card was initially declined for my tests, and my doctor actually paid it for me so I could have the results today. I paid him back but that is a huge gesture. It makes me feel so confident in him that he really wants me to get well and won't give up on me like everyone else.

If my house has mold I won't be able to move right away. The housing situation here is atrocious. I have a dog and chickens that I'm not willing to give up either. My dog is my best friend, and my chickens are my therapists hahahaha!

I hope that I can get my picc out soon. My doctor is making me keep it for a few weeks even after I stop abx and Benadryl just in case I end up needing t again. My digestion is still very fragile. The cholerestrymine (finally figured out how to spell it lol) is very constipating. For now the 3a magnesia is working but I know for me things tend to stop working at a certain point and I need to switch it up a lot.

Traveler has been my saving grace this past year. I'm obliged to publicly embarrass her lol. She cares about all of us so much, and the world would be such a beautiful place if everyone was like her. She has kicked my butt so many times and forced me to save myself over and over. I'd probably be dead a few times if she didn't guilt trip me into going to the hospital. I owe her a lifetime of gratitude. Mister mike too. He's always there to keep my humor at high capacity. Nothing is more comforting than a friend sending you silly YouTube videos when you feel like shutting down. With these guys being sick theirselves and still utilizing their energy to help all of us is such a blessing. So thank you. Thank all of you admins. And thank all of you patients for building me up time and time again.

It's been such an emotional day. I needed this. Even though it's not exactly good news to hear that you have a serious genetic disposition, I'm filled to the brim with hope. I'm going to get my life back. I won't be stuck here forever. I have answers and there are solutions. If I'm being completely honest there is still a little part of me that's doubtfully digesting this information.

What if the treatment doesn't work? What if my mcad prohibits me from taking what will fix it? What if it's my house and I can't move? What if there's something else we haven't found yet?

Then I gently remind myself that the only constant is change. I won't feel more dead than alive forever. I just feel it. When the day comes that I'm strong enough to participate in life I really hope that I choose to stay involved in Lyme. So many people have helped me, I need to give back.
