Sorry for many questions or if you already posted this.

but just a few more questions i would like to know from your experience.

how much sida acuta were you taking

&& also

how much houtynia chordata were you taking?

I don't think Traveler was using sida acute for bart...she mentioned the only bart herb was Houttuynia.

This will bump it back to the top until she sees it.

Girlie is right - I did NOT use Sida acuta. I only used the Houttuynia tea (at the same time as the Chronic Tonic) to treat my Bartonella.

I used both, but not at the same time. I would definitely advise against starting both at the same time. I did not herx very often but these are both strong herbs. Reactions vary but I would personally start with sida tincture. Depending on how sensitive you have been reacting to treatment...I have heard a lot of people start with as minimal of 5 drops of sida, 3 x a day - then go up to 30 drops 3x a day (<-what I did). The Houttuynia is really strong though. I worked up to 1 tsp, 3x a day of tea. Good luck with your treatment!

I think I'll have to do more houtynnia....as i feel the herx a lot more with houtynnia..

it's interesting that nuero is most of my ill symptoms...so I will see how i react to increased dosages of houtynnia.

Very interesting.. so far i feel more of a light 'herx'...as most my herx are light now but i want to go for the killnow.

Do remember to titrate up slowly, please!!! No big herxes as they can be very dangerous.

I echo what traveler said, big herxes are bad. And hey - that is awesome that you have only had mini herxes. Healing from lyme is a marathon, not a sprint. I know it is frusterating (don't we all).

I only used sida for about a month until I finished the bottle (if I am remembering correctly) then a few months later I was on houttunyia - which I think I was on for 1-2 months. At that point I still had a lot of odd/annoying symptoms but those went away in time with vitamins/supplements.

At the point that I was using the herbs I really didn't have many neuro/bart symptoms. I had insomnia pretty bad, some heart issues, actually a fair amount of other symptoms but it was hard to decipher what infection it was coming from.
