I save about $2000 a year that was previously spent on going to chiros.
Chiro is not a fix, and partial scam (not a total scam, it does some good )to keep you coming back.. Joints get mis-aligned because of tight imbalanced muscles. Chiro moves the joint, but will not address the tight damages muscles. Very few chiros will admit this fact, they would lose customers. Chiro only works, and stays, if you use other methods to fix damaged muscles like trigger point and myofacial or active release - and some younger chiros actually do this! (the older chiros are stubborn in their ways, mostly).
I have to respectfully disagree with that,Astro. It is not a scam. The chiro I go to does the Upper Cervical manipulations - which is adjusting the atlas (C1). In my early twenties, I went to physiotherapists, and 'regular' chiropractors...but never got relief. My mom had headaches most of her adult life ....and then found the Upper cervical chiropractor...and within a few treatments - headaches were gone. Once her adjustment was holding better, she only had to go monthly or every two months for a tune-up.
After her great results, I went to her chiropractor...and same thing...issues cleared up.
I know many, many people who have had the same results.
It is a gentle approach...no crunching, snapping, or pain.
And it's not expensive...I pay $40 and only go every two months. I have paid a lot more on physiotherapists..that didn't help, and in some cases hurt me. I went to 4 different ones...and each one had a different reason for my pain...and different therapies to address it.
What works for one, doesn't always work for another.
