Ears inflamed and 'weeping'

Have been suffering for the last four weeks now with this new symptom, have had dry, flaky skin in ears for over a year, but not too bothersome, however, last 4 weeks it is unbearable, ears are oozing and weeping and a full feeling in ear canal all the time, hard of hearing in left ear now and every morning wake up and they are all dry and scabs in side the ears. It is really getting me down - I don't know what to do - have tried herbal ear drops and colloidal silver in ears but they seemed to cause lesions in my nose. Just wondered if anyone else had these symptoms ever ?? I have to say my energy levels are better than they have been for a couple of years so am really grateful for that but this latest symptom is really making me feel lousy and inside my ears looks horrific.

My Dr has referred me to an Ear Specialist and I am waiting for the appointment to come through.
