I'm scheduled to have my wisdom teeth out Feb 25... I don't know much about them but I'm 26 and mine never came in, the bottoms are angular... My jaws hurt and I can't close my mouth all the way, it also stings my gums where they should be so I'm not sure if they're impacted, the dentist didn't say much about them but the clinic I go to only really does cleaning and fills cavities... I'm not sure if the symptoms are Lyme or wisdom teeth but they have to come out, any experiences? Did they alleviate any symptoms or make them worse?

Are you having them out in the chair...or going to the hospital and having general anesthetic?

I had my bottom wisdom teeth out long before I had lyme...in the chair...just local anesthetic, - they were impacted, so he had to take them out in a couple of pieces.
My top ones are still with me.

If you can have them out in the dentist chair, I would do it that way...I was able to go back to work after it was done...minimal pain and swelling. Cotton soaked in clove oil really helps for the pain.
It seems like they are more gentle with you when you are awake...and know what's going on.
Someone I know had jaw issues after having them extracted while under general anesthetic...maybe they are rougher if you are 'asleep'.

Yes, in the chair with laughing gas! Anesthesia costs like $200 extra
