I have it in my mind not to do ANYTHING invasive, unless it is of the utmost importance to my health, while I have lyme.
It is my experience, so far with lyme, that any injured (mostly past, but some present) place on my body lyme has loved to invade. Almost like lyme discovers a slight weakness and thrives there. I think that is why my ankle will ache. I broke it once. And I have always had migraines so with lyme head pain they were not treatable with medicine. Invasive is an injury.
It is just my thinking. I would be more inclined to try other ways of cleansing than being punctured first. Just my 2 pennies.
