Just wanted to express my gratitude for all the amazing support here. Discovered the gift of the bladder infection most likely from the catheter. I went to Urgent Care, had done a Louise Hay meditation the night before, and for the first time heard and welcomed a part about welcoming caring Dr.'s. I got the luck of the draw! What helped me I think was 1. the MRA finding the aneurysm showed Dr.'s and myself, this is real, she didn't make it up. The rapid weight loss, whatever it is related to, has a nice exclamation point by it, and it is measurable, they tend to believe me. Going in for pain yesterday, and the urine test pointing to a bladder infection and being prescribed anti-biotics. AND, when I told the Dr., do you want my opinion about what might be behind this, I told him I suspected Lyme. He listened to the story, and he said, well, we can get you a referral to infectious disease - this will give you peace of mind at least, and he admitted he didn't know much about it. On the anti-biotic I had the same sort of reaction I had with Cats Claw, which I cut out until I get over this infection. A Herx, I am sure! Symptoms flared fiercely - headache, earache, neck, knees, elbows, forearms. So now when I go and talk to the infectious disease specialist I can discuss that I had a reaction with both Cat's Claw as well as Sulfamethoxazole. I am going to print out the scientific studies that present on Lyme, co-infections, and sexual transmission, the article discussing Lyme and aneurysms, my list of body issues, a list of lyme symptoms highlighted with parts that seemed relevant, and Dr. Horowitz's book, and say, I scored very high on his diagnostic questionnaire, and given this, he suggests seeing a health care professional and discussing my situation, because the results show a good probability of a tick borne disease. No sleep, two nights in a row, first night from bladder pain, last night from bladder pain, and then towards dawn what is probably herxing. I am taking a narcotic for the pain management right now. Hope to be off it soon.
