buhner advice please

Hello everyone just a little update on my situation I am still on clindamycine,bactrim, diflucan and just added jk which I was doing good with then I added side acuta I guess it has been about two weeks adding the side acuta but feeling very fatigued more than usual is this normal? My question is what should I incorporate next? I did have a consult with buhners associate but the email support has expired.....really. can't afford another consult at his time I am treating Bart and babesia and mycoplasma..... I am taking both herbs s acuta and jk 3 times per day I did try euthro not sure how to sell but I did not like that herb it made my heart race and made me tired..... what would you recommend next would like to order the rest of the herbs maybe a couple more....thank you.....

The Japanese Knotweed was for the endothelial protection. If it were me, and I am not a doctor or herbalist, I would do some cytokine remodulation by taking some Salvia miltiorrhiza (Red Sage) and Scutellaria baicalensis (Skullcap or Huang Qin).

Also you could add in some gelatin. Buhner likes Great lakes gelatin. He also suggests Vit C and Selenium for collagen protection.

At the same time Buhner likes to help our immune system incorporating herbs for that also. Unicaria tomentosa (Cat's Claw), Cordyceps mycelium (a mushroom), withania somnifera (ashwagandha), Eleutherococcus senticosus, and Glycyrrhiza (licorice).

I am also one that cannot do eleuthrococcus. It made my heart race like crazy. To give my heart support I did Hawthorn and of course I did Motherwort as an added heart protection. My heart was really involved with lyme from the beginning so I had to address that.

We are all so different and you will find the mix that works for you. It will be totally your mix and there is no easy way to determine this, except for trail and error.

This is why you try out an herb at a very low dosage and very slowly up that dose. You will be able to tell if this is a good herb for you or not.

And, if you feel nothing. Do not be alarmed. Some can be so subtle that we don't feel them. That is until you think you can quit it. Then you will notice. Anyway that is what happened to me. I have learned all of this by making my own mistakes. There are super knowledgeable people on here and boy did I rely on them for advice. But ultimately it is my body and how it reacted.

In his new book Buhner notes that the main side effect of Sida is fatigue. He speculates that it is because Sida breaks biofilms.

I myself have gotten crushing fatigue when using various biofilm busters. I think busting biofilm and releasing the toxic debris and microbial inhabitants stresses the body and immune system a lot. However not addressing it is probably a recipe for eventual relapse.

Thank you project that is very good information you shared I will add in some supportive herbs... I think I will order his book I guess Amazon is prob the best place it would prob make more sense to me if I read it.....

When I first started Buhner herbs I was so tired. I slept a lot. I have always been a sleeper when I am ill. I think my body likes me to sleep and heal.

After awhile I got more energy as I healed more.

So be patient and give it some more time and maybe your energy will come back.

I take about 20 supplements every morning. Plus 2 tablespoons of gelatin in my coffee.
2xs a day I take
NAC, Biosil, tumeric and mag
3xs a day I take
McBB2, Tox Ease GL, Cat's Claw, Hawthorn, Motherwort, Astragalas, Red Sage, Skullcap, Japanese Knotweed, Cryptolepis, Red Root, Houttuynia, and Andrographis

I'm using what worked very well for me last time - Chronic Tonic plus Houttuynia.
I almost went with Buhner's for Bart, but I KNOW this works for me, so I decided it would be foolish for me to use anything else.

My treatment for Babesia as mainly with Chinese Medicine and that practitioner has closed up her shop now, so I've decided that I will be using Buhner's for Babesia....when I get that far. I won't start treatment for Babs until my Bart is under good control since I herx pretty easily.

If/when you add Houttuynia, do be sure to add it in slowly and at very low doses! It has proven to be a powerful herb for lots of people.

And what PeteZa is taking isn't really a lot for someone that's trying to help their body heal from these infections. We need to supplement and support as many of the body's functions/organs as necessary.

catchscooter, I forgot to mention my eating habits. I eat ONLY organic, even my wine is organic if I have that. Nothing EVER packaged. Canned is organic and usually only beans. Most things made from scratch. We eat a lot of wild caught fish, all kinds. Tons of vegetables. Rarely pasta, rarely rice and bread about 2 slices a month so I have to freeze a loaf. No deserts but to be polite I will eat a little at someone's birthday party, but that would be me, NEVER hubby. We NEVER drink sodas. We don't eat at restaurants but rare occasions, because of the quality of the food and NEVER fast food. Snacks might be hummus with celery or carrot sticks. Eggs - wow do we go through the organic eggs. Hubby is 4 a day and I probably do 4 a week. All fruits are organic and seasonal. Avocados are about 5 a week in our house. Never ground beef only bison and that about 2 times a month, only organic turkey or chicken. My weekly food bill is over $700. We get a lot of our body nourishment from our foods. My husband is 6'7" and weighs 225 but is lots of muscle - he does whey powder and makes the most incredible smoothies in the world. Those smoothies have everything in them, fresh grated organic tumeric (pretty orange to the mix) coconut oil, bone broth, ginger, cayenne, yogurt, green vibrance, chia seeds, flax seeds and fruit. He drinks about a quart of this a day and I drink about 16 ounces.

So you see it is not just the herbs that heal us. It is a culmination of everything that we do for our body.

We also go to bed at the same time every night and get up at a regular time. We get out in the sun and fresh air. And another thing we do is breath properly. That sounds funny but most people are shallow breathers. We had to learn how to breath properly. You breath in from your nose to the count of 7, hold it for the count of 4 and then you let it out slowly through your mouth with your tongue on the back of your upper teeth. Careful, you will get dizzy the first couple of times. This gets those lungs using their entire capacity.
