This itching is driving me crazy!

Good Morning!

Does anyone else have unrelenting itching on their lower legs? Is this common with Lyme? There is no rash although I can feel a very light bump on one leg. Any ideas on what to do? I tried dry brushing last night with a wash cloth (I haven't got a brush yet) and it just made it worse.

Sometimes, not always, this is a circulation problem. You can try massaging to get the blood flowing. BUT with lyme, it can just be this stupid disease.

Try putting some coconut oil on it. It is anti-bacterial and anti-microbial and also a great moisturizer. You will smell yummy too!

I say do not do any steroid creams.

Every now and again, my skin gets itchy...not sure why...or what causes it...not just my legs though, usually legs and arms...and the back of my head.

I was itchy all over when on ABX. Dry brushing in the shower before water helped a lot.

Also had a couple specific itchy spots with real bad muscle knots under them. I triggerpoint releaseing these areas took a few months. And then one day I noticed the itch went away there too. Maybee a circulation issue from the knots was causing itching, strange!

For intense itching I pull out the apple cider vinegar. Put about 5 inches of water in your bath tub and add 2 cups of organic apple cider vinegar. For 5 to 10 minutes sit in it and use a container to repeatedly pour the water all over you. After that you can add your Epsom salt as usual and whatever else you use and fill up the tub and have your bath.

Thank you fall or the input =) I did try the coconut oil as well as massage PeteZa, It helped for a short time but then it came back. I also tried some aloe vera gel and it hasn't helped either. I think I will try the apple cider vinegar, Summersun, thank you for the suggestion!

Seabuckthorn oil seemed to help me (sibu brand). I would mix a bit with lotion. I also like their soap.

I itched when herxing - epsom salt baths and adding chlorella helped. Interesting, my intuition prompted me to use coconut oil on my skin - and not sure why - but it sure smells and feels good. I observe in the now, itchy itchy too.

Baking soda baths.... a whole big box helps me. Sometimes I itch from head to toe, then it gets better for a while.

The itching is the worst. Sounds like you got a lot of great suggestions. If you are still itching after trying all of this then you can try Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap. You can get it at any health store or at Amazon.com. I use it when ever I have a flair up of itching. It smells like camp fire but it did take away the itching and also a rash if you have one. I just keep an extra bar around all the time.

Thank you for the great suggestions! I am going to write them all down. I woke up this morning and the itching was gone. Not sure why but I will take it! I did take 2 new detoxing things yesterday so maybe that was it.
