My sister told me she has an MTHR gene mutation, and my guess is, that probably applies to me. My intuition has been nudging me for awhile now to get some genetic testing done for health info and today I decided to invest. Now that I am reading about it, I can see why knowing this and taking right action would be really important in that it relates to the bodies ability to detox (from what I am beginning to understand.) I was also reading today in Horowitz's book about chelation therapy, removing heavy metals, and knowing this was on the protocol of the naturopath I visited. He actually starts treating the spirochete AFTER one has begun to integrate the supplements needed to support healing, AFTER one has removed toxins from the home, AFTER one has detoxed the body from heavy metals, then he integrates herbal stuff to treat both the bio-film and the spirochete. I didn't want to invest the $400 for his information plus the $1000 for his herbs and bought Buhner's books instead. Next week, second opinion on the teeth, meet the new GP (going to focus on getting to see a dermatologist for some skin growths that are unusual (I know - spirochetes), a physical therapist for a wonky shoulder I think from falling this past Fall, and ask her about the possibility of anaerobic bacteria, and also fungal exposure (our old cottage is wonky.)
I was wondering if anyone flowed with doing some chelation (heavy metal removal) therapy without getting tested. Go real slow.
My guess is, if my sister has this gene mutation, I most likely do too, and the greater liklihood of toxic stuff building up instead of being flushed out.
I had my fair share of exposure to toxic stuff as a visual art, working with oil paints, and more recently - ceramics.
I just started using gloves when painting on oxides.
All my very best.
Hope your healing journeys are progressing well and that your space of inner knowing is bringing the information you need at exactly the right moment to support your quest for wholeness.
