I have at this point since Dec 8th of 2015 seen 14 different MDs a total of probably 22 or more times. I have had bouts of many different symptoms including but not limited to. Extreme fatigue, headaches, tingling, joint aches, muscle pains, rib pains, rapid heart rates, slow heart rates, belly distention, belly pain, eye pains like crazy, vision problems, anxiety, neck stiffness, head pains on top of my head that hurt when I touch it, brain fog, balance issues, and did I mention anxiety, difficulty with remembering things, foot pains, burning sensations mainly in heels/side of one foot, muscle twitches all over, lots of abdominal gas, and weird dermatological things such as pinpoint blood spots that show up on my chest and upper arms, red lesions on my lower legs, weird stretch marks that come and go, sometimes skin is extremely pale and if I touch or scratch at all it leaves welts for a long time and other times skin is beet red and touching it leaves white marks that stay for ever.

None of these symptoms are here for ever, they come and seems to never stay in one place very long. I have seen all these doctors and they have run tons of tests and almost all have been normal with exception of a few which are my CPK and CRP are elevated and vitamin d is low. The MDs have all seemingly all come to the same conclusion, It is a virus and will eventually go away. I have I have chronic fatigue and sciatica as well as h-pylori and stomach erosions none of which explain all of my symptoms. I am a huge out doorsman and have removed on avg about 2-10 ticks per year since I was a kid. My neighbor has had lymes 4 times now so I know it is in the area. But my doctors have said there is no way that I have it because I have had 2 negative ELISA tests and a negative western blot. I still question it as I know I have had some of these symptoms since 2009 when I came down with "viral" meningitis but other than some arthritic pain and stretch marks have not had much for symptoms until dec last year when they put me on zpac/prednisone for some breathing issues and I got incredibly sick within 1 week I was bedridden and since than have lost about 40 lbs.

Am I truly going crazy or is it a possibility that I still may have lymes and maybe some coinfections? Any insight would be helpful. I am going to see a llmd but I worry that he may say the same thing and it is all in my head.

Also I wanted to warn you about Prednisone. When we have lyme disease, we should not be taken steroids. The suppression of our immune system allows the disease to grow...and causes a worsening of symptoms.

Nick, my first symptom was achy knees and I went and got both (previously injured) knees injected with cortisone. All heck then broke loose on my body. I had no idea that those injections would make lyme come full blown alive.

Stop the madness of all the other doctors. I too did a whole slew of doctors. You need a good one that is trained and believes in lyme. Most infectious disease, neurologists and regular doctors don't believe in lyme so you will get the run around of test after test and appointment after appointment - Next thing you know the doctor has a new BMW!! $$$$$

Girlie and Silly Sheep gave you some good advice. Hang in there. You are not alone and please feel free to ask any question. We all were new here just like you at one time.

What I did for all my appointments was take a notebook. Sometimes when I would get in front of the doctor I would forget to ask my questions. If they are written down, less likely to forget.

Yes I have actually kept a log of symptoms with MD apt and what was done test wise in the event that an MD would take note and actually look through it. Unfortunately the only one that has so far is the neurologist that I have seen who even though he admitted he does not know much about lymes he feels it is still a good thing to see an LLMD. He even offered to order whatever blood tests that the LLMD would like to have run to help save money since it is going to have to be out of pocket to see him!
But otherwise a lot of dead ends. I will keep you posted thank you so much for the info so far, and believe me I will have many more questions.

I believe I enabled email address now but am not sure. Also the LLMD that is going to see me has agreed to see me this Thursday instead of the original date of May 9th. So that is a blessing.

I do hope that they can get some info for me. As to the lab that ran the tests It was just the local one here in southern WI that ran it not the igenex.

That is great that you are able to see the LLMD this Thursday!
He will advise you on testing with Igenex...whether he wants you to or not.

Also he thinks I have probably had it since 2009 when I had a bout with aseptic meningitis since I have had stretch mark rashes since than as well as the start of my "degenerative disk disease" in my back.

I had never really thought that was possible till I started reading all this stuff in the last few months. Noe I wish I would not have ignored the tick bites before...

I agree with Girlie on all counts. It sounds like you are in good hands.

Did your LLMD mention anything about the need for detoxing? (for whatever reason, many LLMD's don't mention this vital aspect of healing).

You see, all the while we've had these infections, the bugs have been going through their life cycles which includes death. Well, those dead bug parts are toxic to our bodies and they are what drive our symptoms:
