Anyway, I gave 'em what for just in case, and packed them off to study Alan Macdonalds findings....should keep them busy for a bit, LOL!!

Oh, but the person did not mind informing me that they took 12 months of abx for acne - but more than 4 weeks for Lyme, that's bad. Oh, the illogical arguements of the metally challenged. Dumb ar*es.

What an appalling message !! Ignorance and closed minds breeds contemptuous idiots.

Lol, I am detetmined not to sink to idiotic level, but since I feel somewhat insulted (not just for myself, but for anyone who has the courage and determination to fight this) to be told that my fight for my life is not even worth acknowledging, I have given them what for, with bells on, lol.

Six months ago it would have reduced me to tears, or brought about a fit of lyme rage, but rather now with my newly restored level head and rationality, I feel duty bound to give the idiot a polite slap upside the head ;)

I just can't fathom the rationality behind the arguement that refutes chronic lyme due to an apparent abscence of proof (which I put them right about) you can then be certain that the person has conversion disorder, for which there is no test, but rather the absence of a positive test for anything else...which is what the same person argues AGAINST the diagnosis of chronic lyme. This is ridiculous circular logic!!!

And as for 'proof' of a myth.....errrr, ok the CDC must have branched out a little since it is now gotten into the realm of myth proving, lol.....absence of proof is not proof of absence as any decent scientist knows. But we even have proof, so, go figure, lol!!

I wish I could copy and paste my response here (dumb tablet doesn't like that, lol) as I am personally quite proud of the fact that I have made enough progress in my healing to be once again able to construct a well laid out counter arguement, when just months ago my brain fog would have made this impossible. I am thus going to revel in my progress, rather than allow an ignorant whatshissocks to irritate me :) And continue with the head slapping, just for fun......because the pre lyme me never could resist a debate, he he, and I am happy to feel like ME again!!!

Hi S. S. - That sounds like it came out of my GP's mouth and certain relatives, too! Maybe, one day people will understand - I am hopeful , but for now, one has to walk away from certain arguments. It is not worth the little energy we have to waste it on crap.
