Welcome georgegeorge,
So sorry for the reason you're here but glad you found us.
Trust your gut on this one and pursue Lyme and coinfections treatment. Your symptoms certainly could be caused by these infections - hallmark Lyme is the waxing and waning of symptoms.
Please consider seeing a LLMD (Lyme literate MD)....and preferably one trained by ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society). ILADS is cutting edge for diagnosis and treatment.
LLMD's know that Lyme suppresses immune function. Well, the Western Blot test measures antibody response. How is someone with suppressed immune function ala Lyme going to mount an antibody response? They're not.....and that's why even the CDC says in their website that Lyme is a clinical diagnosis - one based upon symptoms.
www.cdc.gov/lyme/"Lyme disease is diagnosed based on symptoms, physical findings (e.g., rash), and the possibility of exposure to infected ticks. "
Sorry to say that the doctor you saw is clueless about
Lyme.
Please read through our "New to Lyme? Start Here!" thread that sits at the top of the forum. It contains an incredible amount of useful information that you'll find you need time and time again. There are symptoms lists, info on test interpretation, detoxing suggestions and more.
And, please consider starting a new thread titled "looking for LLMD in (insert larger city near you)" so members can email you directly with contact info for LLMD's they can recommend. We don't post treating doctors' contact info in the forum.

And, I'm glad you're getting relief from marijuana - cannibis use is quite common for relief from the symptoms of these infections.
