As for your Igenex test, did you go to an LLMD to get this test? What are your symptoms and how long have you had them. Did you have a tick bite and did you get the rash?

Just a test doesn't give us much information. Many a lyme diagnosis is based on clinical diagnosis and does not rely on a blood test.

I am so sorry you are searching for answers and all I did was give you questions, but we need more information to process what you are going through.

Alright I have the most bizarre symptoms. I get face pain and pain/unbearable sensations in my testicle but I can get those sensations in my feet legs etc, there just in my right testicle most of the time, and they are totally unbearable(ultrasound on testicle was normal). Like I even feel all this stuff in my sleep its so intense. Also I get hot cold type burning throughout my body. I also get like extreme itchiness like a burning itch all over my body but its like inside bc theres no rashes or anything.

I also get weird psychological symptoms like I will feel like i have to twitch or click my toes together hard to explain. I get OCD that comes and goes, like I can have it for a week really bad then its pretty much gone for sometimes months and comes back. The pain in my face and testicle is severe, I’ve been off work for a while and no one can help me, I sometimes don’t want to go on. Doctors give me tramadol, doesn't really help sometimes it takes the edge off, same with ativan(lorazepam). Over the years all my symptoms have gotten progressively worse and I am very desperate. All these symptoms would come and go now they are more severe and aren't going away.

Oh, I had brain MRI which showed over 41 lesions and also a small pituitary tumour but they say thats not causing my symptoms, and they ruled out M.S.

It says one positive double star band may indicate clinical significance. We recommend testing by another method such as PCP, or Lyme Dot Blot.

So do you guys think I should try the other tests Igenex wrote on the report? Maybe I get my spinal fluid tested for the lyme blot dot test bc it says sometimes it doesn't show up in blood work and it shows up hides in bones or brain etc.

Also on one of the other pages it says my IgG ** 41 kDa was IND, with all others negative .
So basically my IgG band was IND and my Igm was positive.

Sometimes lyme disease does cause lesions on the brain...and is often misdiagnosed as MS.

I wouldn't have a spinal tap done...it's not a good test for lyme disease.

Because of your symptoms, I would see a LLMD for an evaluation.

Your symptoms sound like Lyme. I know some drs will treat just based on band 41. Band 41 cross reacts with syphilis. Did you get tested for that? Although I don't think your symptoms are the same.

I would definitely go to a llmd.
