Is anybody who has Lyme diagnosed with RA?

Yes, it is steroids and chemotherapy (the same medicine they use to treat breast and lung cancer). This is why I don't use this conventional medicine that kills immune system. But pain sometimes is so terrible that I sometimes wants to give up. This is why I am looking for people who have both Lyme and RA. I wondering how do they address the pain?

If would know. I started to have pain in neck ind back in September last year similar to one when you overexercise but very symmetrical. Than pain went to legs (tights) muscles. The family doctor game me steroids for one week. Pains gone but returned when I stopped steroids. CRP and SED were high in blood test and doctor referred me to rheumatologist. He did many test and told that I have RA. They treat only symptoms by killing immune system with all terrible side effects. I denied and started looking for alternative solution. I found doctor in integrative group who found that I have a lot of heavy metals, mycotoxins, mycoplasma and Lyme (indeterminate). he treated me with chelation and other things to get rid of all these things. Then I got a call from TrueNorth Health Center (Ca), they had available room for me in their clinic. They treat people who suffer from different problems (including autoimmune diseases) by water fasting. It is a great detox program. I met so many people here who were in the whole remission after this treatment. But they told me that for Lyme it doesn't work; however, it will help to detox the body pretty well. I return back to Chicago on Monday and should decide what are my next steps. Tomorrow they will do for me CD57 test. Maybe, it will clarify more my indeterminate result for WB Lyme test. This is what I have now. Here in this clinic they believe in vegan diet, my integrative doctor - Paleo. Go figure out. This is my situation for today.

Both the CRP and ESR are markers of inflammation...and are also seen in people with Lyme disease.

Did you have the RF test done? ..or the anti-CCP?

I also have back pain, shoulder and knee pain (as well as finger, elbow and wrist joint pains )
Oh, and baker cysts. My right one was sore, but is has gotten better and isn't as "puffy" as it used to be. My left one was never very bad.

I think you're on the right track. I think treating lyme disease and staying away from steroids if you can is a good idea.
