Hello,
My functional dr (not Lyme literate) suggested starting TAO Cats Claw and Japanese Knot wood, in addition to my current antibiotics.
I was all set to do so, and then my chiropractor took my blood pressure and asked if I always run low. I really don't know the last time I had my blood pressure taken so I'm not sure if my blood pressure does in fact runs low, but my reading was 90/80 when my chiropractor took it.
I'm wondering in its low from Lyme?
Fortunately, I read somewhere not to take cats claw with low blood pressure. Thoughts?
I checked my Buhner book, but it doesn't say much on this, but I do recall something being said in the book that it can interfere with blood pressure? It also seems that the non TAO cats claw maybe ok with low blood pressure, as there was no mention of blood pressure in the interaction section? I asked my chiropractor if I he thought I could try something that could potentially lower my blood pressure, and He advised against it, saying I don't know want to go any lower and risk passing out.
I'm now scared to try any herbs without professional help. My dr doesn't do much with herbs so isn't much help there, and I'm having trouble finding anyone else to see me anytime soon-I live in an endemic area 😕 And, antibiotics aren't helping, and I am detoxing but could always do more.
Thanks for any insight on cats claw!
