(this quote is from the Vit C presentation today from the Lyme Summit. I think it's so good and deserves special notice. The part about support really resonated with me today)
1. Don't freak out but, the bug doesn't matter in some regards. The answer is, what happened to your body to allow this infection to get out of control? I don't think attacking the bug is the solution. I think fixing the body and putting it back in balance makes it bulletproof.
If we just go after the bug, we don't fix what was wrong with your body in the first place that allowed the disease to start.
2. this is the second part of the answer. I believe there are 6 reasons why people don't get better and I believe it is literally in this order.
a. They are too advanced in the disease/physiology damage. The train has left the station.
b. They've had the wrong doctor and wrong treatment. Anti-against, Bio=life, Tic=therapy. I don't believe that giving some one against life therapy is the answer. Seen tragic ABs pts. Not against short term ABs is fine, but long term is not the answer.
c. The pt. doesn't want to get better. They become their illness. And they don't have to take responsibility for their life. This can be corrected but some people have a mental illness in this area. We added a mind/body healer and the results were really great.
d. They don't have a very good support circle. It's critical that the inner circle of people the pt relies on is educated and congruent with what the pt. is trying to do. If you don't have that it's going to be a huge hurdle for the pt. who has to either compartmentalize that relationship or you have to try to educate the antagonistic person about what it is you are trying to do. OR, you are just going to be stalemated but the relationship inner circle is critical.
e. Finances is the least of the problems. Usually a person will decide it's worth the cost and find the money.
(that's only 5? tb)
You might help people get to a plateau if you don't take these other things into consideration.
The greatest doctor is your body and you have to get your body back to health so it can do what it was designed to do.
