I'm so glad that you feel things went pretty well!
The detoxing that we do will help with neurotoxins - it did with me.
Look into Lion's Mane tincture.
If indeed your issue(s) are caused by neuro lyme and the myelin sheath is affected, the Lion's Mane extract has been shown scientifically to repair the myelin sheath. Just google it, even the NIH says so:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12675022www.livestrong.com/article/509385-lions-mane-mushroom-for-nerve-damage/ Neurontin may or may not be helpful for nerve pain. It helps a few Lyme patients, but many don't find it helpful. I'm not sure how your doc arrived at the conclusion that Neurontin will help protect the brain, there have been studies that show that it doesn't allow for new synapses to be formed, which is how we form new memories as well as a few other things. It's not as damaging for adults as it is for teens, but still something to be aware of if you think of using it. Just do an internet search for it.
Remember to start your abx one at a time, and on very low doses and build them up as you tolerate them. That means with really good detoxing routines in place, your symptoms remain manageable.
Also be sure you are on a good probiotic. Many find they need to take a minimum of 30,000 units a day, and some find they need much more.
A symptom journal is a good idea! We can track how our treatment is going and find what kinds of triggers we need to avoid.
