Did you have to have surgery for the hematoma?

Sounds like you have a couple of doctors that are in agreement. I find having a LLMD and a neurologist agreeing VERY unusual. lol

So sorry Serfr - but awesome that you have some info to go on. Most neuros look at all the tests they do on us and just shake their heads and ask us to leave. LOL Except mine - he's a gem but had absolutely no advice for me.

So, you're just waiting for the hematoma to go away? The florin is to reduce inflammation?

What are you doing for detox? Have you implemented any brain detox like pinella or bur bur tinctures (might help with some of the symptoms). Japanese knotweed is good for inflammation.

My daughter-in-law is a brain trauma nurse. She sure knows about this and I barely understand her.

Steroids will reduce inflammation, but they also cause the immune system to be further inhibited so that you are getting no help from it to battle these infections. I've not heard of anyone healing these infections while using steroids, unless it's very low dose cortisone for the adrenals. This may be what your doctor is doing. It sounds like you are likely okay with the dose you are using. You will likely find this article helpful:
