Need advice

Yesterday I felt like I am coming down with cold or flu – runny nose, pain in muscles and general weakness. Today I have small fever (37.3C). I feel very exausted. Two days ago I felt cold because of air conditioning in the room, becaue of that I think maybe it is just a cold. But my father also feels sick, with runny nose and sore throat. If this is a virus, I think he passed it to me.

However, I am on abx treatment. This is my 3rd week after short break that I needed to have because of low WBC. Do you think this can be herx? Or just regular cold/flu?

My doctor is on vacation and I cannot reach him until next Monday (in one week’s time). Am I able to continue with abx? I take Clindamycin and Minocyclin.

I asked pharmacist only about interactions between L-lysin and abx, I didn't mention my other issues.

Can I continue with abx if it is a virus?

I don't see any reason to stop your antibiotic treatment if you have a cold or flu bug.

Blueberry, I agree. It could be a herx, they often feel like a flu, but because your dad has the same thing I'd say a virus. Either way it is ok to continue the abx. I would be sure and increase detox and maybe up your vitamin C. Lots of fluid and rest.
