Testing for heavy metals

I recently had a test for mycotoxins and now I was thinking should also get tested for heavy metals. Are there different ways of doing this. Are there different types of tests? Don't know much here so asking the board. Thanks.

My first one was IV chelator with 4 (or 6) hour urine collection. Had high lead, aluminum, cadmium, gadalonium, uranium. Doing a repeat this week since it has been almost a year. This time it's 3 dmsa pills with 6 hr urine collection. Both were done with doctor's data.

I've done the doctor's data hair test for my kids and I feel it was accurate too. Their uranium level was the same as mine, which is found in our well water.

My LLMD told me that it is not necessary to do heavy metal test unless you worked with metals, e.g. in factory or at work. But I believe we can have them even though we don't work in such field?
