I am due to get my impacted wisdom tooth removed in a few weeks due to infection and it's concurrent problems and was wondering (due to Travelers thoughtful guidance) if there were any herbs I should be entirely steering clear from due to bleeding issue//anything else.

Here are the herbs I'm on
Japanese Knotweed
Cats Claw
Hawthorn
Houuttuynia
Red Root
I am gonna stop consuming garlic cloves in a few days

Hope I don't have too because these seem to be the only things stopping all my major symptoms at the moment.

And be sure to add any problematic herb/supplments for surgery you can think of for future and current patients going through the same situations.

I've read the Japanese knotweed has blood thinning properties.

So, you might want to stop it for a day or two prior to the appointment

I don't know about the rest.

My personal opinion is to stop it all - I am not a doctor or a dentist or oral surgeon.

It will not hurt you to stop the herbs for a week while your mouth heals up. Why take a chance???

Do exactly as the doctor says, this is his business and when he says keep the gauze in for "x" minutes, do it. When he says ice - do it. I really emphasize the ice.

Rest and get as much nutrients as you can sip.

Also stay ahead of the pain. When it is time to take a pain pill, take it. It can be difficult to catch the pain if you let it go too long.
