What could cause your herbs to randomly stop being as effective?
I was just curious and decided to up my Byron White by 3 drops at once. Nothing happened. haha. I know that the herbs can be picky sometimes, but I shook the bottle as much as I usually do. Didn't change anything. Could my body get used to them THAT quickly? I'm not up to the therapeutic dose yet, but now getting close.

How long ago did you increase? It can take time before you notice anything.
If it's only been a few days...give it longer...heck it can take weeks.

Also, there are people who don't have herxing - rare, but it can happen if they are keeping up with the flushing out of the toxins.
How are your symptoms?

What type of reaction are you looking for? Why do you think their not working? The goal is to take the herbs and begin to feel well. Perhaps your toxin load is down enough that you don't have to feel grundgy. Do you detox?

Krimpet, I have normally been having a lot of brain symptoms and temperature intolerance. A lot of sweating and such. But all I've really experienced after upping them is some allergy symptoms with eyes, throat. Maaaaybe a little bit of brain fog, but I blamed that on not sleeping well last night.
Last night I did dry brush and take a contrast shower. Maybe that helped so much that the toxin load was a little more bearable than usual. I hadn't thought about
that.
Girlie, I increased by 3 drops at 5:00 last night and then an additional drop at 11 today. (I know. Just asking for it.) Should I stay on that higher dose for a few days/weeks to see what happens?
I just thought it was strange because the last time I increased by 3 drops, I was down for 4 days. haha. And then nothing in comparison to that happened this time. Maybe it's a good sign. :)

I would take it as a good sign but also like Girlie said there can be a delay in symptoms. Just be on the lookout but I'm going to cheer for the "you're getting better" explanation.

oh - yesterday...lol. That is really quick...so maybe this time you're toxin load isn't as high...you're detoxing better.
So, you increased 3 drops once and then today 4 drops? (3 + 1)
I think I would stop increasing...just do the 3 drops increase...and stay there. Are you taking it 3 X daily?
I think increasing 3 drops 3 X would be too much ....

Be happy about
the no symptoms. I just started Takuna from the Cowden protocol and I literally can only do 1 drop a day right now. That is some strong stuff. It gives me roaring brain issues. I know that it is hitting something becuause this is exactly what happened when I was doing a homeopathic for EBV. This targets all of the HHVs and then some.

Girlie, I increased from 11 to 15 2x a day within 24 hours. I think I'll stay at 14 or 15 for a bit to see what happens. Especially since detoxing yesterday. I even blamed the "feeling good" on having caffeine yesterday too. haha. I do expect that there will be a point where I will actually start feeling better from the medicine. Just have never experienced that. Even today it's not a "feeling better" it's just not feeling worse as expected.
Krimpet, what did you do for EBV? My doctor and I have discussed needing to do something about
that. He suggested Valtrex or monolaurin. What did you take? Also, what is the Takuna for? the Lyme? I'd never heard of that Cowden one.

I'm taking it for EBV and HHV6. I attached the product sheet below.

Very interesting, Krimpet. Thanks for the information. Might have to give it a try.
